No letters on background after update!

I absolutly love this app, so much fun and so much faster.... But after I had installed an update, (I dont exactly know why), but it doesnt seem to place the letters on the backgroud after I finish writing them with my finger... All styles (curvise, print or mixed) dont seem to be recognized and place onto the background after I complete writing it with my finger... It doesnt make any sense, something must have went wrong after i updated it....Has anyone else had the same problem or perhaps a similar one, or am I the only one?... Perhaps I can try deleteing it and reinstalling it, maybe that will correct the issue... Does anyone else have any other suggestions?
